The GRF Development Programs

• YOUTH LEADERSHIPaims to motivate and develop the youth by recognizing outstanding high school student leaders from accredited partner schools. YLP provides scholarship assistance to qualified awardees for their college education.

• DEVELOPMENT FINANCE, HUBLAGoperates, equips, and strengthens the economically active poor by providing them with working capital to “move” them to become sustainable and effective agents for community development.

• BARANGAY JUSTICE SERVICE SYSTEMprovides access to justice for family and community peace and trains community volunteers called Barangay Justice Advocates to act as peace counselors, mediators, and advocates for judicial reforms.

• COMMUNITY HEALTHcatalyzes private sector collaboration with local government units, by training and technical assistance on health reform policy and advocacy, and providing appropriate programs to ensure better access to quality health services.

• LOCAL GOVERNMENT DEVELOPMENTprovides capability building and technical assistance packages that improve the performance of local government units in delivering basic services to their communities.

These five programs seek the participation of local leaders and their constituencies in recognizing their needs, creating opportunities, and taking joint responsive action. The community is empowered to act together, organize, and take responsibility for accelerating their own social transformation.
