GRLAs-Professionals Group elects 1st Execom members

The Gerry Roxas Leadership Awardees-Professionals Group elected its first set of members for the Executive Committee (Execom) in a meeting held last October 25, 2008 at JAA Training Room, 11/F Aurora Tower, Araneta Center, Quezon City.
Those who were elected were Luz Anselma A. Arguelles (Luchie), Romarie T. Arnaez (Rom), Dr. Abundio A. Balgos (Toto), Glenda Dawn B. Carlota (Glenda), Atty. Nicasio A. Conti (Nick), Wigberto G. Encarnacion, Jr. (Wigz), Anna Liza M. Gaspar (Liza), Atty. Christine V. Lao (Tin), Dr. Anthony C. Leachon (Tony), Dra. Rosalina C. Magnaye (Saling), Maria Rosario G. Marasigan (Charry), Cherrie L. Tinoko-Paguirigan (Cherrie), Atty. Ana Liza A. Peralta (Ana), Atty. Leopoldo M. Redublo (Pol), and Jessica S. Reyes-Ting (Liza). The Execom will serve as the governing body of the group in at least the next six months while they are in the process of finalizing the details of their organization.
The election is an initial step of the group towards forming themselves into a formal organization which membership will include all recipients of the GR Leadership Award beginning 1967. The award is being given by the Gerry Roxas Foundation to selected outstanding high school graduates in various partner high schools all over the country, in recognition of their exemplary leadership qualities and to inspire a new breed of leaders in the communities.
The elected members of the Execom will select among themselves who will serve as specific officers in another meeting to be held on November 8, 2008.
