Does GRF-HUBLAG require clients to undergo training and are there corresponding charges?

All clients are given orientation on fund advance policies, with no fees charged, prior to the first fund advance availment which takes from 30 minutes for individual clients up to an hour for a group of clients.  A rehash on the fund advance term and rates, granted every renewal of fund advance lasting only up to a maximum of 5 minutes, also with no fees charged.  A formal enterprise development training is required specifically for clients engaged in rice and corn farming, small-scale aquaculture and livestock production. The training entails an entire day and focuses, among others, on drawing up a business plan and a simple income statement. Depending on the distance of the training site, a minimal fee of Php 100 – 200 is charged, but may be reimbursed if after exhaustive credit investigation and project evaluation, the client is deemed a poor credit risk or the project is found to be infeasible.
