Gerry Roxas Scholarship Grant (GRSG)

The Gerry Roxas Scholarship Grant was envisioned to provide financial assistance to bright but economically-needy students.  It aims to harness their idealism, energy, and motivate them in pursuing a college education and to participate as role models in responsible citizenship and community development. 

The Foundation encourages those among the different Leadership Awardees who need financial support for their college education, to apply for a Scholarship Grant. The Scholarship Grant is awarded to those qualified students who opt for service professions that contribute to Philippine development.  At least one scholar is selected from every region each year. 

The Scholarship Grant is either a full/partial tuition assistance or a stipend to assist the student while he/she is pursuing a 4-year college degree.  It is given to qualified Gerry Roxas Leadership Awardees chosen by a GRF Selection Committee.  Selection is based on the following criteria: 

a) the applicant must be among the top contenders from his/her region of origin;

b) applicant must belong to the Top Five Students of the Graduating Batch (Top Ten for NCR applicants);

c) the applicant has excelled in extra-curricular activities;

d) applicant’s selected course is among the approved GRF roster of courses;

e) family financial status.

During the tenure of the scholarship, the scholar is expected to fulfill all academic requirements, and render volunteer service to either the school or community, or opt to participate in any of the Foundation’s development programs as a way of honing his/her leadership potentials.
